So you tick "detached," set a price, guess at bedrooms, and then spend an hour opening listings in new tabs to check the ones the filters could not answer. Half of them do not have the office. A few are on a road you would never live on. The one that looked perfect backs onto a plaza.

We built Realtris AI so you can skip that. You type the sentence, and it does the translating.

What is Realtris AI?

Realtris AI is an assistant that searches Ontario real estate through conversation. You ask it something in plain language and it works with live MLS listings, recent sales, census data, school information, and mapping tools to answer. It is free to use with a Realtris account, it lives in the chat bubble on every page of the site and on its own full page at /chat, and it is in beta.

It is not a chatbot that reads you a brochure. It runs actual searches, pulls real data, and shows you the listings.

Just say what you want

The core of it is search that does not need a form.

Ask for "a semi in Leslieville with parking, under 1.2, that has an open house this weekend" and it understands the neighbourhood, the property type, the budget, the parking requirement, and the open house, and returns the listings that match. Ask it to "find me detached homes in Bridlewood with a walkout basement and a main-floor office" and it handles the two features that no portal filter cleanly covers. It knows the local names for places too, so "The Junction," "Cabbagetown," or "the Beaches" resolve to the right area instead of coming back empty.

When the results come in, it flags one as the closest match to what you asked for, so you have a place to start rather than a wall of twenty tiles.

If a search comes back too broad or too narrow, you say so in the next message. "Only the ones with a double garage." "Push the budget to 1.3." "Nothing on Kingston Road." It adjusts. You are having a conversation, not resetting filters.

It knows the neighbourhood, not just the listing

A listing tells you about the house. Most of your questions are about everything around it.

Realtris AI can pull grounded demographics for a specific listing from the 2021 Census, so you can ask what the area actually looks like in terms of households, age mix, and how many people own versus rent. It can look up school ratings and nearby amenities, the closest transit, the grocery stores, the parks, with real distances rather than a vague "close to everything." And it can answer commute questions properly: give it a listing and your office address and it returns the driving time, instead of you guessing from a map.

These are the questions that usually take three other tabs and a phone call. Here they are part of the same conversation as the search.

What did the one down the street sell for?

For any listing, you can ask what comparable homes recently sold for, and it returns the sold comparables so you can see where the market actually landed, not just what things are asking. You can also ask for active listings similar to one you like, which is the "more like this" you always want and rarely get.

There is also an early home-value estimate built in. If you give it the MLS number of a listing, it can return a model-generated value estimate with a range and a confidence level. It is clearly labelled as beta and it is not an appraisal, but it is a quick gut check. For your own home, when you are actually thinking about selling, it will point you to the instant estimate tool instead, which is built for that.

Run the numbers without a spreadsheet

Ask about carrying costs on a specific listing, or about a hypothetical budget, and Realtris AI can put together the financial picture: mortgage breakdown, monthly payment, and for investors, rental potential and cash flow. It renders as an interactive calculator inside the chat, so you can change the down payment or the rate and watch the numbers move.

When you are ready, it hands you to a person

Realtris AI is good at finding, comparing, and explaining. It does not write your offer, negotiate for you, or replace an agent, and it will tell you so.

When you want to book a showing, ask a question it cannot answer, or get a real valuation on your own home, it connects you with a Realtris agent using the contact details on your account. No forms, no re-typing. The AI does the legwork up front so the conversation with a person starts further along.

We would rather tell you this than have you find out mid-search.

Realtris AI is new, and it is in early access. It handles Ontario only. It works from text, so no voice or photo input yet. It remembers the recent part of a conversation but not everything from twenty messages ago, so on a long session it helps to restate the key details. And like any assistant of this kind, it occasionally takes a wrong turn, misreads a request, or gives an answer worth double-checking. Treat what it tells you as a well-informed starting point, and confirm anything you are about to make a decision on.

We are actively working on it, and feedback from people using it is what moves it forward fastest. If it gets something wrong or misses something obvious, tell us in the chat. That is the point of an early access release.

How to try it

Sign in with a free Realtris account, then either open the chat bubble in the corner of any page or go to /chat for the full-screen version. Ask it something you would actually ask an agent. Frequently asked questions

Is Realtris AI free?

Yes. You need a Realtris account to use it, and the account and the assistant are both free.

Does it work outside Ontario?

Not yet. Listings, sales data, and addresses are Ontario only for now.

Does it replace my real estate agent?

No, and it is not meant to. It handles search, comparisons, neighbourhood research, and the numbers. Showings, offers, negotiation, and strategy are still a person's job, and it will connect you with one when you want that.

Can it show me what homes actually sold for?

Yes. Ask about a specific listing and it can return recently sold comparable properties, which is the closest thing to public sold data in Ontario, where those prices are not freely listed the way they are in the United States.

Is the home value estimate an appraisal?

No. It is an early, model-generated estimate with a range, useful as a gut check. For a real valuation of your own home, use the instant estimate tool or ask for a professional evaluation.

It gave me something that looks wrong. What do I do?
