C1835, granted its historic designation in 2001, Secord-Copeland House is a prime example of the architectural tapestry found in the Village of Queenston. David Secord sold the home in 1835 to Jacob Nicholas a wagon maker, in-turn Jacob sold it in 1837 to Daniel Quackinbush who used the residence as an inn until 1868 when he sold the property; it reverted to an owner and tenant occupied residence through the last half of the nineteenth century. Off the reception hallway is the relaxing lounge and classic colonial kitchen while to the back of the home is the mud/laundry room which at one time might have been used as the summer kitchen; walkout to the BBQ deck overlooking the back garden. Upstairs you will find the master & 2nd bedroom, 3rd bedroom used as den/in-home office, and bath along
